We will not let the state be divided. The Chief Minister asked to include the part proposed by Suvendu in the opposition to the partition of Bengal. After talking to Suvendu Adhikari, the parliamentary minister wrote a proposal for a new Akhand Bengal.

The Assembly witnessed an unprecedented event on Monday. They are politically opposed. He became an opposition leader after the 2021 assembly elections. Another is the chief minister. However, the Assembly witnessed a rare scene on Monday. Bengal has seen a political battle between the ruling and opposition parties. Suvendu Adhikari asked to bring a proposal on behalf of Akhand Bengal on Monday.

"Bring a proposal for united West Bengal, we will support it. - Suvendu Adhikari, Leader of the Opposition

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee immediately responded to the opposition leader's proposal.

"West Bengal will remain one. We will not allow Bengal to be divided. at the beginning of the proposal. - Mamata Banerjee, West Bengal Chief Minister

Accepting the proposal on behalf of Suvendu's Akhand West Bengal, the Chief Minister told Sovandeb Chattopadhyay,

"It's a sensitive matter. I will accept whatever the opposition leader says. There will be disputes over small things. I will not break Bengal. "We will be united." ""

After this, the proposal was put forward with the consent of the ruling and opposition party leaders. Legislative Council Minister Sovandeb Chattopadhyay read out the alternative resolution signed by the Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly. "We will protect the united West Bengal at any cost. We don't want division. "This House is committed to the development of undivided West Bengal." ""

Mamata gave a message of courtesy on the issue of Akhand Bangla. The Assembly also witnessed another rare moment. It was also heard that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee would visit Bandyopadhyay if the leader of the opposition in the state invited her for tea. Speaking on the issue of Akhand Bengal, Mamata said, "I went to Anant Maharaj's house and had a cup of tea, what happened? I'll call you (if you call me). Suvendu responded to Mamata's offer of tea with a smile.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had met BJP Rajya Sabha MP Anant Maharaj on June 18 after the Lok Sabha elections this year. The issue was raised by Mamata Banerjee in the Assembly.

In the end, there was a surprise in the assembly. Like sweetness. This is the first time that BJP MLAs will be singing the national anthem in the state assembly. Earlier, BJP MLAs had protested against the state anthem. That scene is gone. On the contrary, all the ruling and opposition parties were united.

On the last day of the monsoon session, the political differences in the assembly ended in a rare sight. Like the proposal of Akhand Bengal, the assembly saw the picture of integrity politically as well.
